About Me

My name is Mikolaj Krol and I was born in Krakow, Poland in 1995. I started my journey with cryptocurrencies in 2016. Back in 2014, I began studying economics with a clear goal: to become a millionaire before finishing university. I achieved that goal, which meant I could retire before I ever started working. However, during that time, cryptocurrencies became my passion, and I never truly “retired” from them. Even today, I spend a lot of time analyzing the cryptocurrency market. For me, cryptocurrencies are not just a way to get rich. I truly believe in their potential to grant people more freedom and decentralize the entire financial industry, making individuals independent of banks and governments. Outside of crypto, I have a strong passion for traveling, cars (I own a collection that includes a Porsche 911, Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar XJR, Aston Martin Vantage, and Audi R8), horses, and James Bond movies.

My Story

I was born into a lower-middle-class family by Serbian standards, which would be considered a poor family by Western standards. My parents were simple people who expected me to have a “normal job” like them. However, as a teenager, I realized that my ambitions were far beyond a “normal life.” My parents mistakenly thought that if I were ambitious, I should just focus on doing well in school. But I quickly understood that finishing school with excellent marks would only lead to a “good” normal job. My vision of success was completely different. I dreamed of a luxurious life that my parents didn’t even dare to imagine. For my family, I was always the one “thinking like a child.” In the end, I decided to go to university and chose the subject that interested me most: economics. However, I approached it with a very specific plan: to become rich before I graduated.

During my university years, I completely renounced my social life and dedicated myself entirely to realizing my plan. In the first year, I was studying literally 24/7. I knew that success doesn’t happen overnight, and I wanted to become perfect at market analysis before making any significant moves. In the second year, I shifted my focus to the assets that captivated me the most: cryptocurrencies. I was determined to learn everything about them, from A to Z. The life-changing period for me was the third year of university when I felt confident enough in my knowledge of cryptocurrencies to engage with them seriously. I didn’t become wealthy by investing in Bitcoin. Instead, the projects that made me rich were small, lesser-known cryptocurrencies I discovered early before the others. These investments gave me x5, x10, or even more than x100 returns. You’ve likely never heard of coins like Shcoin or HScoin. They were never major cryptocurrencies, but they brought me over 100x returns because I spotted their potential and invested before everyone else. However, don’t rush to buy these coins today! They’re no longer profitable investments.

21-year-old me
(my university years)

After achieving my goal, I left the university before the last year. While this decision may not seem logical, I wanted to prove to everyone that I was right. I didn’t become rich because of school but because I chose my own path without listening to anyone. At that point, I didn’t need school anymore. With the money and, most importantly, the knowledge I had, I knew I wouldn’t have to work for anyone and didn’t need a diploma. What about learning new things? I’ve never stopped studying, and I continue to learn new things even today. But school is not the best place to learn. The things I learned while studying economics were helpful, but 80% of the knowledge that made me successful are things they never teach in school. The remaining 20% can easily be learned through books and the Internet. After quitting university, cryptocurrencies became a part of my life and remain so until today, but first of all I decided to enjoy life and the next chapter of my story… I’ll keep it to myself. 🙂
